The Beginning

The Experiment
1. Each week we will add and strictly follow one of Michael Pollan's Food Rules until we have attempted all 64 rules.
2. At the end of the week we will share our experience (with possible updates during the week).
3. After the week we will evaluate the rule and either discard or continue following (possibly not as strictly).

Goals
1. Critically evaluate, reflect, and challenge our dietary choices.
2. Inspire others to consider their dietary choices.

We decided to share this experiment with everyone via blog in order to add pressure on ourselves to make it through all 64 rules. If you are so inclined to attempt this experiment with us, we would love for you to also share your experiences with the rules in the comment section. We hope this blog will be thought-provoking, comical, insightful and overall entertaining. Ryan says we do not need that many adjectives, but I have high hopes for this blog.

The start date of this experiment is April 5th, 2010. Get ready!
